Placement Guidelines & Policy – IBIS B-School
At IBIS B-School, the placement process is governed by a clear and student-centric policy that ensures equal opportunity, transparency, and professionalism. The Career Development Cell (CDC) works with students and recruiters to create a smooth, ethical, and result-driven placement experience.
Eligibility Criteria for Placement Assistance
1. Minimum Academic Performance
- Students must maintain a minimum of 70-80 percentage of marks with no active backlogs at the time of campus placements.
2. Attendance Requirement
- A minimum of 80 % attendance is mandatory across all academic and placement training sessions.
3. Completion of Internships & Projects
- Students must successfully complete their summer internship and capstone project as scheduled.
4. Participation in Training Programs
- Full participation( 100%) in all placement training modules (aptitude, mock interviews, GDs, etc.) is compulsory.
5. Code of Conduct Compliance
- Students must adhere to the institute’s code of conduct, ethics, and grooming standards.
General Placement Policy Guidelines
- Single Offer Rule: Students will be eligible for one final job offer through campus placements. In case of a dream or core job, limited second chances may be provided based on policy.
- Application Protocol: Students must apply for companies only through the CDC-approved platforms. Direct contact with recruiters without permission is not allowed.
- Offer Acceptance: Once an offer is accepted, students are expected to honour it. Declining after acceptance may result in debarment from further placement support.
- Misconduct & Disqualification: Any act of misrepresentation, indiscipline, or unprofessional conduct during the placement process can lead to disqualification.
