Course Structure
At IBIS B-School, our PGDM program is designed to provide a perfect blend of academic excellence, practical learning, and industry exposure. The curriculum follows a semester-based structure spread over two years (four semesters), ensuring a gradual and thorough understanding of business management.
Year 1: Core Business Foundation
The first year focuses on building a strong foundation in all key areas of management. Students are introduced to essential concepts in marketing, finance, operations, human resources, and business communication. These core courses are designed to create well-rounded future managers with a deep understanding of business fundamentals.
Year 2: Specialization & Industry Focus
In the second year, students choose their specialization based on their interests and career aspirations. Electives are offered across key functional areas such as Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, Analytics, and Entrepreneurship. The curriculum emphasizes real-world application through case studies, live projects, internships, and a capstone project.
Semester - Wise Breakdown
- Semester 1: Core courses in management principles, economics, accounting, marketing, and organizational behaviour.
- Semester 2: Advanced core courses in finance, HR, operations, MIS, and business law, along with industry immersion.
- Semester 3: Specialization begins with a mix of electives and a summer internship project presentation.
- Semester 4: Final set of electives, leadership modules, and a comprehensive Capstone Project or Live Consulting Assignment.
